The Radio Audience Measurement (RAM) data for Week 35 for the four RAM markets - Mumbai, New Delhi, Kolkata and Bangalore - is out. Radio Mirchi leads in Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata; while Big FM is No.1 in Bangalore. Mumbai In Week 35, Radio Mirchi leads in the Financial Capital with a market share of 18.1 per cent. Following Radio Mirchi are Red FM and AIR FM, placed second and third, with a market share of 15.8 per cent and 13.2 per cent, respectively. Radio City comes fourth with a market share of 12.5 per cent, while climbing up a spot is Big FM, which is placed fifth and has a market share of 12 per cent. Slipping a spot this week is Fever FM, which is placed sixth with a market share of 10.6 per cent. Radio One comes next at the seventh position, with a market share of 6.5 per cent. AIR FM Rainbow has a market share of 4.7 per cent, Meow FM has 2.7 per cent, Vividh Bharati has 2.3 per cent, and Akashvani has a share of 1.7 per cent. Delhi In Week 35, Radio Mirchi is No.1 in the National Capital with a market share of 24 per cent. Fever FM and AIR FM are placed second and third in the city, with a market share of 22.1 per cent and 14.5 per cent, respectively. Red FM, at No. 4, has a market share of 8.9 per cent. Radio City is in the fifth position with market share of 8.3 percentage points; while with a market share of 7.3 per cent, Radio One is placed sixth in Delhi. Big FM, at the seventh spot, has a market share of 6 per cent. Meow FM has a market share of 2.8 per cent, AIR FM Rainbow has 2.3 per cent, Hit FM has 2.2 per cent, Vividh Bharati has 1.4 per cent and Akashvani has a share of 0.1 per cent. Kolkata In Week 35, the Cultural Capital of India is being ruled by Radio Mirchi, Big FM and Friends FM, as the No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 stations. The No. 1 player, Radio Mirchi, has managed a market share of 19.3 per cent; while Big FM has a market share of 17.1 per cent. Friends FM is placed third, with a market share of 14.6 per cent. Aamar FM occupies the fourth spot in the city with a market share of 10.2 per cent. Red FM continues to occupy the fifth spot with a market share of 7.8 per cent. Both Fever FM and Meow FM have managed identical market shares of 6.3 per cent each. Radio One, with a market share of 5.5 per cent, is placed eight. AIR FM Rainbow has a market share of 4 per cent, AIR FM Gold has 3.7 per cent, Akashvani has 2.6 per cent, Power FM has 1.7 per cent and Vividh Bharati has a share of 0.8 per cent. Bangalore In Week 35, Big FM continues to reign dominance in the Garden City, with a market share of 18.8 per cent. Radio Mirchi and Fever FM are at the second and third positions, with a market share of 16.1 per cent and 14 per cent, respectively. AIR FM and Radio City are placed fourth and fifth, with market shares of 12.7 per cent and 11.9 per cent. Red FM continues to be placed at No.6 with a market share of 9.8 per cent. It is followed by Radio One in the seventh spot and it has garnered 8.3 per cent market share. Vivid Bharati is the eighth player in the city, with a market share of 4.7 per cent. Radio Indigo has 2.4 per cent market share, Gyan Vani has 0.6 per cent and Akashvani has 0.5 per cent market share. |
