The Radio Audience Measurement (RAM) data for Week 30 for four cities - Mumbai, New Delhi, Kolkata and Bangalore - is out. Radio Mirchi continues its dominance in Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata. However, in Bangalore, Big FM has emerged as the No. 1 player in Week 30. Mumbai In Mumbai, Radio Mirchi leads with a market share of 18.2 per cent. It is followed by Red FM with a market share of 14.7 per cent, while the third position is occupied by AIR FM, which has managed a market share of 13.8 per cent. Big FM continues to be fourth in the Financial Capital with a market share of 12.2 per cent. Radio City, with a market share of 12 per cent, is placed at fifth position in Mumbai. Fever FM is sixth in the city; while Radio One is next in line, with a market share of 6.3 per cent. Amongst the other stations in Mumbai, AIR FM Rainbow has 4.7 per cent market share; Vivid Bharati and Akashvani have 2.2 per cent each; and Meow has 2 per cent share. Delhi In the National Capital, Radio Mirchi remains the No.1 player with a market share of 23.2 per cent. Fever FM has maintained its second position with a market share of 18.7 per cent. AIR FM Gold, with a market share of 17.8 per cent, is placed third in the city. It is followed by Radio City at No. 4. Red FM and Radio One occupy the fifth and sixth place in the city, with market shares of 8.3 per cent and 6.8 per cent respectively. Big FM is placed seventh, with a market share of 6.4 per cent. Next in line is Meow FM, with a market share 3 per cent. Among the other stations in Delhi, AIR FM has a market share of 2.4 per cent, Hit FM has 2.3 per cent, Vividh Bharati has 1.5 per cent and Akashvani has 0.2 per cent market share. Kolkata Radio Mirchi, Big FM and Friends FM continue to occupy the first, second and third position, respectively; with a market share of 19.2 per cent, 16.3 per cent and 13.3 per cent, respectively. Aamar FM occupies the fourth spot in the city, with a market share of 10.2 per cent. Climbing a spot this week is Red FM with a market share of 8 per cent. Fever FM, having lost its position to Red FM, is in the sixth spot, with a market share of 6.8 per cent. Radio One is placed seventh, with a market share of 6.5 per cent. It is followed by Meow FM with a market share of 6.3 per cent. Among the other stations in Kolkata, AIR FM Gold has a market share of 4.6 per cent, AIR FM Rainbow has 4.4 per cent; Akashvani has 1.9 per cent; Power FM has 1.6 per cent; and Vividh Bharati has a market share of 0.8 per cent. Bangalore Big FM has pushed Radio Mirchi to the second spot in the Garden City. Big FM has garnered a market share of 19.2 per cent; while Radio Mirchi has managed a market share of 17 per cent. With a market share of 15.2 per cent, Fever FM continues to be placed third. It is followed by Radio City in the fourth position, with a market share of 11.5 per cent. AIR FM occupies the fifth position in the city, with a market share of 11.4 per cent. Radio one has moved up a spot to become the sixth player in the market with a market share of 8.4 per cent. Slipping a spot this week is S FM, which has a market share of 8.2 per cent. Amongst the other stations, Vividh Bharati has 4.5 per cent market share, Radio Indigo has 3.7 per cent, Gyanvani has 0.5 per cent and Akashvani has 0.4 per cent market share. |
