    Radio Point: Mirchi leads in all RAM markets in Week 29

    According to the Radio Audience Measurement (RAM) data for Week 29 for four cities - Mumbai, New Delhi, Kolkata and Bangalore, Radio Mirchi continues to lead in all four RAM markets.

    Mumbai
    Radio Mirchi leads in Mumbai with a market share of 16.8 per cent, it is followed by Red FM, with a market share of 14.5 per cent. AIR FM Gold continues at No. 3 with a market share of 13.5 per cent.

    Big FM is at No. 4 with a market share of 13.1 per cent. Moving up a spot to No. 5 is Radio City with a market share of 12 percent.

    Fever FM is at No. 6 with 11.2 per cent market share. With 6.7 per cent market share, Radio One is at No. 7.

    Amongst the other stations in Mumbai, AIR FM Rainbow has 4.7 per cent market share; Akashvani has 2.8 per cent; Meow has 2.6 per cent and Vividh Bharati has 2.1 per cent market share.

    Delhi
    Continuing its lead for the seventh consecutive week in the Capital, Radio Mirchi has garnered a market share of 24.1 per cent in Week 29. Fever FM has maintained its No. 2 position with a market share of 17.8 per cent.

    With a market share of 15.1 per cent, AIR FM Gold is placed at No. 3 in Delhi. It is followed by Radio City, which has climbed up a spot to No. 4, with a market share of 10.6 per cent.

    Sliding a positron to No. 5 is Red FM, which had a market share of 8.1 per cent. Big FM continues to be No. 6 in the city with a market share of 7.9 per cent. Next in line is Radio One with a market share of 7 per cent.

    Among the other stations in Delhi, Hit FM has a market share of 2.9 per cent; followed by AIR FM Rainbow and Meow FM with 2.4 per cent each, Vividh Bharati has 1.5 per cent and Akashvani has 0.1 per cent marker share.

    Kolkata
    In Week 29, Radio Mirchi, Big FM and Friends FM continue to occupy the No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 place, respectively; with a market share of 20.3 per cent, 15.3 per cent and 13.7 per cent respectively.

    Aamar FM is at No. 4 in Kolkata with a market share of 10.8 per cent. Climbing a spot to No. 5 this week is Fever FM, with a market share of 7.7 per cent.

    Red FM has been pushed down a spot to No. 6, it had a market share of 7.2 percentage points.

    Radio One is at No. 7 with a market share of 6.8 per cent. It is followed by Meow FM, with a market share of 5.9 per cent.

    Among the other stations in Kolkata, AIR FM Rainbow has a market share of 4.1 per cent; followed by AIR FM Gold with 3.6 per cent, Akashvani has an 2.3 per cent, Power FM has an 1.4 per cent and Vividh Bharati has an 0.7 per cent share.

    Bangalore
    For the third week running, Radio Mirchi is the leader in the IT city with a market share of 20.5 percent.

    Big FM, at No. 2, has a market share of 15.9 per cent. With a market share of 14.8 per cent, Fever FM continues at No. 3.

    Radio City, at No. 4, has a market share of 13.5 per cent. AIR FM Rainbow is at No. 5 with a market share of 10.5 per cent.

    S FM is at No. 6 with a market share of 8.5 per cent, followed by Radio One with a market share of 7.7 per cent.

    Amongst other stations, Vividh Bharati has 4.9 per cent market share; followed by Radio Indigo which has 2.9 per cent, Akashvani has 0.5 per cent and Gyan Vani has 0.3 per cent market share.
