The channel share of Star Plus has decreased from 26 per cent in Week 12 to 24 per cent in Week 13 with 299 GRPs in its fold, according to the data released by TAM Media Research. Colors has increased its GRPs from 262 to 272 in Week 13 and its channel share stands at 22 per cent. Zee TV has been continuously increasing its channel share in the past few weeks. In Week 13, it recorded 239 GRPs, while its channel share increased to 20 per cent. Star Plus has lost 2 per cent share from the overall GEC pie in Week 13, while Zee TV has gained 2 per cent. NDTV Imagine, which until now was at number five along with Star One, has replaced long time number four Sony Entertainment Television, with 87 GRPs (72 GRPs in Week 12). Imagine has managed to grab 7 per cent share, while the relative share of Sony stands at 6 per cent with 79 GRPs. Sony had 80 GRPs in the last week. Star One at number six and Sab TV at number seven have retained their respective channel shares of 5 per cent and 4 per cent, respectively with 66 and 49 GRPs. Sahara One has garnered a 4 per cent share, with 44 GRPs. DD1 had a 3 per cent share. Both Star Utsav and 9X have managed to grab 2 per cent share of the overall GEC market with 24 and 23 GRPs. The new GEC entrant, Real, with just 13 GRPs, has managed to grab only 1 per cent share, which is constant since the launch of the channel. |
