Fever FM has associated itself with the producers of movie Chandni Chowk to China, whereby the radio station will offer its listeners to meet with Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone, at the Fever studios in New Delhi and Mumbai. As a part of this marketing association, Fever FM will also run contests to establish connect with the listeners across New Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata. It will give away free movie tickets to few lucky listeners, who are also entitled to get a experience to ride in the 'Fever Ek Sau Chaar bus' from Chandi Chowk to the Fever studio. Gowri S Kapre, marketing and promotions head, Fever FM, said, "Being the radio partner for Chandni Chowk to China, we have formulated a fresh way to establish the audiences' connect with the unique conception of 'Fever Ek Sau Chaar bus', which will traverse through the streets of Delhi, promising an enchanting experience like never before." Under the initiative in Delhi, the station will select 30 lucky listeners on the basis of a contest, which comprises listeners answering a simple question via SMS. These winners will get the chance to board the Fever bus routed from Chandni Chowk to the Fever FM office on January 15, 2008. En-route listeners will participate in a Bollywood quiz to win a chance to meet Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone at the studio. Incorrect answers will entail expulsion from the bus at the next stop-over and 5 new lucky listeners will get the chance to board the bus. The final lucky 30 winners get a chance to meet their favourite stars. At Fever FM Mumbai, the contest encapsulates Fever RJs playing out various interesting Chinese and Indian sounds from the movie, as part of the Sun Mumbai Sun contest, and asking listeners to guess them to win a chance to meet stars of the film. In Kolkata, through the Spot the Chinese Maal contest, listeners will have to spot the Chinese items out of the 10 items listed by the RJ to win movie tickets for Chandni Chowk to China. The FM station will also run a contest Chollywood Dialogues at New Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata stations, where listeners will have to repeat Hindi dialogues with a Chinese accent to win movie tickets. |
