Zee TV, the Hindi general entertainment channel, will launch a new show that lays bare the evil intents of the criminals of the society and highlights the contribution of the police force, the crime branch and the homicidal department during the terror attacks and threats on the society.

The channel will launch a thriller show, Monica Mogre Case Files, which is the personification of a brave woman cop who stands in the face of adversity. The weekend show debuts on January 10, every Saturday and Sunday, at 8:30 pm.

Tarun Mehra, business head, Zee TV, said, "With Monica Mogre Case Files, it is our endeavor to make every woman aware of her susceptibility to eminent danger in the face of such evil forces. We have the indomitable Mahesh Manjrekar essaying the negative lead in the first series followed by Jimmy Shergill in the next. In fact we have a solid line up of negative characters to give the required impetus to our storylines."

The show is being produced by Yash Patnaik of Beyond Dreams Production. The character of Monica Mogre is being portrayed by Parakh Madan, along with Abhijit Satam who plays the male lead. The Monica Mogre Case Files are a series with every story lasting for about 10-12 episodes.

Zee TV is also adding more spice to its existing programming lineup by launching two more new shows - Maa, a regular soap about a mother separated from her children and Dance India Dance (DID), a reality show, by the end of January.

It is interesting to note that the new shows, such as Ranbir Rano, Chhoti Bahu and Shree, have been put together to support Zee TV's recent makeover when it adopted its new tag line, 'Har Pal Banaye Ek Naya Rishta'.
