Anuj Singh wins Ad Club's business leader award

Ad Club of Bombay has announced the winners of Young Achievers Award at a ceremony held in Mumbai today.

The awards were introduced by Ad Club for the first time to felicitate CEOs and CMOs for their commendable effort in taking their organizations to success and recognition. The awards have been created to recognize and encourage young talent in the advertising and marketing communications industry.

Anuj Singh, national marketing head and station head (Mumbai), Red FM won the business leader award, while Amit Sharma of Chrome Pictures won the best movie maker award.

Anuj Singh said, "I am really happy to receive this award, and am very grateful to my mentor Abraham Thomas for his guidance and support. I would also like to thank him for giving me the tremendous opportunity to do what I wanted to in the organization, for building a culture which encouraged all of us to think out of the box and for always being a guiding force."

Shirin Johari of O&M was declared the most creative person for her HSBC brand campaign. Hetal Ajmera and Simone Patrick from JWT India won best art director and best copywriter awards for their SNC Jewels and DTC - Lead India Poised campaign respectively.

Reliance Communications' Shivani Suri Dhanda and HUL's Harman Dhillion were coveted with best brand maker award. Monaz K Todiwala from Madison Media won the best digital person award for her work on Cadbury Dairy Milk. Ritu Trivedi of Lodestar Universal was declared the best media person for her campaign on Amul.

The Big FM Radio award was given to Shekhar Banerjee of Madion Communications for Saffola campaign.

Abhijit Awasthi, executive creative director, O&M India and Sanjay Behl, group branding head, Reliance Communication were the jury members for the creative and business segments.
