Alka Saxena quits MH1 News

Alka Saxena, CEO and Editor-in-Chief, MH1 News has made an early exit. Pradeep Gangal, MH1 Group CEO, has taken over the additional responsibility of Saxena's role.

Saxena said, "Yes, I had resigned at MH1 on June 30, and my resignation was accepted on July 2. At the moment, I cannot disclose my next destination."

Saxena had joined MH1 news channel on May 25 after quitting from Janmat, where she was the anchor of the flagship show 'Aap Ka Mat'. Saxena began her journalistic career with Ravivar-Ananda Bazaar Patrika in 1985. She was one of the core founding members of Aaj Tak in 1995. She then moved to Zee News in 2001, where she was Editor and Head of Programming, before joining Janmat which was her last stint.
