Radio Mirchi 98.3 F.M, Bengaluru's (earlier Bangalore) hottest radio station concluded its search for the 'Next Gen' RJ's. The glitzy finale for the RJ Hunt which was held at Nyx's, rocked, as it saw five talented & go-getter young stars battled it out in for it. As the final moments approached, participants were seen nervous with anticipation. In the initial rounds, participants & enthusiasts between the age group of 18 to 28 years registered themselves through forms or calling in, to the Mirchi studio. The Second round comprised of screening the voices of those, short listed from the previous round. The Third round saw the contestants host shows real-time and Radio Mirchi, involved the city of Bangalore to actively vote for their favourite two RJ's. To celebrate this special occasion which was also Radio Mirchi's first anniversary, the event shows some real cheerful moments with the popular performing live. The evening at Nyx saw some terrific dance performances by the group 'Shadows' who set the stage on fire and gave tremendous boost to the show on the whole. For the final selection, contestants needed to 'talk' on a range of topics that were provided and were judged on the basis of quick-thinking abilities, creativity & humour quotient. Commenting on this initiative Amit Sathpathy, Cluster Buisness Head, Karnataka & Kerala, Radio Mirchi said, "RJs are increasingly becoming role models for the youth and rightly so, as a successful RJ is a mix of talent with spontaneity. We are delighted to conduct the Mirchi RJ Hunt in Bangalore. The response of the city has been overwhelming and reiterates Radio Mirchi as the hottest radio station of Bangalore." |
