It's official, someone out there has a million-dollar smile. And if you saw it on TV you'd never believe who it belongs to. Ugly Betty star America Ferrera's smile has just been insured for a whopping $10 million. Fret not, the starlet isn't turning into a diva, it's all in the name of charity.

Aquafresh White Trays has secured an exclusive insurance policy for America's smile as part of a programme to raise money for the organisation Smiles For Success. The policy is reportedly one of the most valuable ever granted by Lloyd's of London for a single body part. Other body bits said to be on Lloyd's list are Keith Richards' fingers and Santa's beard.

Ugly Betty is a Golden Globe and Peabody Award winning American television series starring America Ferrera, Vanessa Williams, and Eric Mabius. It premiered on September 28, 2006, on ABC in the United States. The series follows the daily work and personal lives of Betty Suarez (Ferrera) and her boss Daniel Meade (Mabius).

In India, Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin was a popular show on Sony Entertainment Television. The serial was a remake of the Colombian telenovela Yo Soy Betty La Fea (which also inspired Ugly Betty) and followed its story line. It was directed by Tony and Deeya Singh. The cast includes Mona Singh, Apoorva Agnihotri and Rakshanda Khan.
