Private broadcaster Nimbus has agreed to share live cricket feed with Doordarshan for the ongoing India-Bangladesh series. Neo Sports, owned by Nimbus provided 'clean feed' (without commercials) of the India-Bangladesh cricket series to DD without the logo of the channel. However, the Tamil and Telugu language feed provided to Raj TV and Vissa TV, is carrying the Neo Sports logo. The series includes three ODI's and two Tests, and it kicked off on May 10. In accordance with the Mandatory Sharing legislation with the public broadcaster, the marketing on DD is being undertaken by Nimbus, and the revenue will be shared on a 75:25 basis, in favour of Nimbus. Besides, the telecast is also being shown on DD's DTH platform, DD Direct. |
