MAX Marketing Vice-president, Sanjay Ramakrishnan, and SAB Marketing Head, Ajay Modgil, have put in their papers at Sony, close on the heels of Tarun Katial quitting the organization in January last month. Albert Almeida, MAX Business Head and Vikas Bahl, SAB Business Head will temporarily take the charges of the marketing, until a replacement is found.

Speaking to Televisionpoint.com, Almeida says, "Sanjay had relocated from Bangalore to handle MAX. For personal reasons, this wasn't working out for him and he decided to move on." MAX had appointed Ramakrishnan as its Vice President, Marketing and Communications, in December last year.

Ramakrishnan has worked with media firms like Lycos Asia Internet Pvt. Ltd and The Times of India Group. As Head-Marketing at Worldspace India, he oversaw its successful marketing initiatives over the last one year. He has also worked with Spice Telecom, Satyam Infoway and SmithKline Beecham.

Modgil, on the other hand was appointed at SAB in July last year. Prior to this, he was with Zoom Television as Business Development, Alliances and Trade Marketing Head. Modgil has also worked with Bacardi as a brand manager.
