Harish Manwani, President Asia & Africa, Unilever, and Chairman of HLL India, will speak at the top advertising and marketing honchos as part of a series of lectures organised by the India Chapter of International Advertising Association under its International Indians series on February 14, 2006 in Mumbai. Elaborating on the lecture series, Sam Balsara, President of IAA India Chapter, said, "With the Indian economy rapidly globalising and with so many Indians holding key positions in global corporations and guiding their destinies, we thought the IAA could step in and give its members and guests an opportunity to interact with such globally reputed and powerful Indians and benefit from their experiences and wisdom. We are lucky to have Harish Manwani as our first speaker in this series." Spread over 93 countries and with over 6,000 members worldwide, the International Advertising Association is uniquely positioned to recognise emerging cross-border trends before they become obvious, and provide marketing communications professionals with an international, multi-industry forum for the global exchange of knowledge, best practices, professional development, experience and ideas. Manwani will be speaking on 'Winning in Developing and Emerging Markets'. The event is being presented by The Economic Times and Times Now. The India Chapter was initiated over 20 years ago with a view to foster a healthy environment for the growth of globalisation in the communications industry. The India Chapter currently has a select membership of around 50. Membership is by invitation only. |
