CMP-CyberMedia today announced the release of the inaugural issue of Global Services magazine. The launch of Global Services is a significant step in the expansion of Indian media globally. The Indian media scenario predominantly consisted of global brands entering India. This is an instance, wherein CyberMedia, the renowned specialty media house, under its joint venture with CMP Media has launched a global brand. CMP and CyberMedia had announced a joint venture in September last year to build this global media portfolio. Targeted at global buyers of business and technology services, Global Services will be a monthly publication with readership across the world. Global Services would provide its readers with a framework for laying strategies for globally sourcing people, processes and technologies. Hoshie Ghaswalla, Managing Director, CMP CyberMedia LLC commented, "The Global Services platform has two objectives, the first one being facilitating global service delivery for the customers and service providers of outsourcing services. The primary reader would be the customer of outsourced ITO and BPO services, with a predominant readership in the U.S. and Western Europe. The readership would also include the provider of ITO and BPO services across supplier destinations. The magazine comprises of a blend of global outsourcing news and happenings, research backed analysis, trends, vendor issues and expert views. The first issue of Global Services brings out a special report on the Global Services 100, the world's most innovative providers of BPO and ITO services. The report is based upon an in-depth study by neoIT spanning 15 countries across the world, including U.S, India, China, Phillipines, CIS, Mexico. A novel feature of Global Services would be point of views by industry experts with columns by industry veterans as a regular feature. The inaugural issue carries contributions by Atul Vashistha of neoIT, Paul Schmidt and Jim Hussey of TPI, Rita Terdiman and Debashish Sinha of Conscient Partners among others.
