Entertainment Network India (ENIL), the largest private FM radio broadcaster in India based on the number of operating stations and the owners of the Radio Mirchi brand, after promoting Prashant Panday as ENIL deputy CEO and H S Bhatia as ENIL deputy CFO, the premium radio brand has now promoted Nandan Srinath, Sharat Chandra and Farid Qureshi. Nandan Srinath, Senior Vice President and regional Head (North & East) Radio Mirchi has been promoted as promoted Chief Operating Officer, COO, Radio Mirchi. He says, "Radio Mirchi's main objective is to offer our listeners wholesome entertainment and i will stick to it in this new position. My basic presentation is to not only offer an easier and a more exciting way to spend their the listeners days but also to consolidate the undisputed positioning of Radio Mirchi." Sharat Chandra, Executive Vice President, Marketing and Brand Development, Radio Mirchi has been promoted as Chief Operating Officer - International Operations. He says, "My new role is to continue the success of Radio Mirchi in grabbing the majority share of the market, which is a reflection of our programming philosophy, which believes in giving the listeners the very best in Indian radio to a global audience." Farid Qureshi has been added as Chief Operating Officer, Times Out of Home. He puts in as, "Advertising Agencies are taking the cue from advertisers who have already invested and got great results from belowthe-line trend. My job is to make the growth of Times OOH brand as an explosive in India. As big ad agencies, we are bringing an organised, integrated, seamless and efficient approach to a marketer's initiatives." Note recently, Radio Mirchi has bagged licences for all the nine cities it bid for in the Phase II bidding for West Zone. ENIL' has added new networks like Aurangabad, Nashik, Kolhapur in Maharashtra, Chattisgarh capital Raipur, Madhya Pradesh capital Bhopal, Goa capital Panaji, and the cities of Vadodara and Rajkot in Gujarat. In the earlier rounds of Phase II bidding, Radio Mirchi had bagged additional licences for Bangalore, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Lucknow, Nagpur, Kanpur, Surat, Jalandhar, Varanasi and Patna. With this, Radio Mirchi would be present in 26 cities and be the only private FM player to have licences for all cities with a population of more than 20 lakh. |
