    Delhi Advertising Club organised one of the most popular events, DAC Advertising/Marketing & Media QUIZ 2005 on December 16 in the capital.

    Twenty-seven teams participated from the leading advertising agencies and advertisers namely Selvel Media Services, TBWA Anthem, Madison Communications, Lintas, Triton Communications, Grey Worldwide, JWT, Leo Burnett, Cheil Communications, Carat Media Services, NHPC, Mudra Communications, G.P.I, NTPC, Make My Trip.Com, Discovery Communications, IB&W Communications, Street Life, Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd etc.

    Former HTA hand Sunil Gupta, who is currently country head, APRAIS International managed the event. The quiz was attended by over 200 advertising professionals.

    Speaking on the occasion, DAC president V.K. Chopra announced "National Awards for Excellence in Advertising" for the first time and sought co-operation of the advertising fraternity of Delhi for the maiden event.

    DAC Hony. General Secretary Narinder Sharma appealed to the creative directors, copy writers and CEOs of the advertising agencies and marketing heads of leading advertisers to send in their suggestions for the awards. The winner of the event was NTPC which won the Gold Shield and three Indian Airlines sponsored air tickets Delhi-Kathmandu-Delhi. The runner-up was Leo Burnett which won the shield and gift packs.
