AT&T expands deal With Comcast

AT&T has announced a new contract with Comcast, the US leading provider of cable, entertainment and communications products and services. The new contract extends AT&T's existing network support to Comcast's new voice service, known as Comcast Digital Voice, which enables voice communications using Internet Protocol (IP).

The new agreement establishes AT&T Global Wholesale Services as a key supplier of the nationwide transport and termination services that will enable Comcast Digital Voice customers to enjoy higher quality telephony services.

Said Catherine Avgiris, senior vice president, finance and administration of Comcast Voice Services.
