Viacom's Fredric G. Reynolds moves to Evercore

Evercore Partners have announced that Fredric G. Reynolds will become President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of the Firm, effective early August, 2005.

Since 2001, Mr. Reynolds has been President and CEO of Viacom Television Stations Group, the largest station group in the United States. From 1994, he served Viacom Inc. and its predecessor companies, CBS Corporation and Westinghouse Electric, as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

At Evercore, Mr. Reynolds will have responsibility for managing the Firm's affairs. His substantial operating and financial expertise is expected to augment the significant strengths Evercore has built over ten years in aggregating a team of senior professionals, providing long-term advisory services and evaluating investment opportunities. Mr. Reynolds will report to Evercore's co-Chief Executive Officers, Roger Altman and Austin Beutner.

Prior to Westinghouse, Fred Reynolds was with Pepsico for twelve years in the capacities of Chief Financial Officer or Financial Officer at, successively, Pizza Hut, Pepsi Cola International, Kentucky Fried Chicken Worldwide and Frito-Lay, both domestic and international. He is a graduate of the University of Miami, where he has been a Trustee since 1996.
