    HC notice to Mehta on 'Time Bomb'

    The Delhi High Court today issued notices to film producer and Director Ketan Mehta, his wife Deepa Sahi and their company Maya Movies in the 'Time Bomb' case, on which a suit has been filed by 20th Century Fox Film Corporation to restrain Zee TV from telecasting 'Time Bomb' teleserial.

    Justice Anil Kumar directed the respondents to file their reply by July 18. Justice Kumar issued the notice on an application by the Fox plea, seeking impleadment of the respondent in the case.

    The US company suit has accused Zee Telefilms of copying the story, presentation and script of the Fox Corporation teleserial 24. Mehta, who was present in the court for the hearing, accepted the notice. Zee Telefilms Ltd had ealier told the court that Time Bomb was not a plagiarised version of Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation’s 24.
