Channel [v] in association with EMI Music gives an opportunity to participate in the "Draw The Gorillaz contest". Starting May 23, 2005, log onto vindia.com and post your creation of the Gorillaz in any scene imaginable (For eg: Gorillaz playing cricket, Gorillaz protesting against a loony politician or whatever comes to your mind!) in JPG format to along with your name, age and contact details.

One lucky winner will get a once-in-lifetime opportunity to get his/her artwork featured in the Gorillaz forthcoming album – Demon Days. Not just this… you could also win Gorillaz t-shirts and other exciting goodies.

The Gorillaz are: Noodle (guitar), 2-D (vocals), Murdoc Nicalls (bass), and Russel Hobbs (drums). Signed to Parlophone Records at their very first gig in 1998, their debut album Gorillaz (2001) has sold 6 million copies worldwide. Co-produced by Gorillaz/Damon Albarn and the Grey Album mastermind Danger Mouse, Demon Days was recorded at the band's own Kong Studios. The album is a darker and more intense affair than 2001's Gorillaz. Gorillaz reputation for excellence and enthusiasm has secured them a stellar guest list. Featured on the album are contributions from De La Soul, Neneh Cherry, Martina Topley-Bird, Roots Manuva, MF Doom, Ike Turner, Bootie Brown of the Pharcyde, Shaun Ryder, Dennis Hopper, the London Community Gospel Choir and the San Fernandez Youth Chorus.
