He's called one of the famous guru of Indian advertising, but Alyque Padamsee's true passion is the stage. He never just 'dabbled' in theatre, rather, he trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London

He was responsible for some of the biggest hits ever on the Mumbai stage, like Evita. But his most famous role was enacted before a camera: he played Jinnah in Richard Attenborough's Gandhi.

Shouting when I'm angry.

My glasses, so I could see my date.

Fifteen things. A box of ulcer pills, hanky, wallet, belt, specs, a red folder, pocket torch, wristwatch, scribble pad, bottle of glucose water, mobile, coat, large brown leather notepad, a ball-point pen and papers for the meetings of the day.
