Okay, car loans may play hard to get as interest rates soar, but Volvo is cranking up two new models to be launched year-end and has signed on Euro RSCG to deliver its advertising communications. Swedish auto major Volvo Group, which is a part of Ford now, has chosen to go with the latter's media buying agency, Mindshare, for the purpose. The account size is pegged in the region of Rs 8 - 10 crore. Both models to be launched by the auto major will be in the super premium category, and the advertising would crisscross all media, although there's doubt whether television will be used. The ads are likely to be on display from the last quarter this year. Genesis BM is the public relations consultancy. Commenting on the appointment, Paul de Voijs, Managing Director, Volvo Car India, said, "We believe all the three consultancies have the necessary capability to assist us in achieving our business objectives. The strong process assurance, research-based planning and understanding of our strategic and tactical goals have differentiated their proposals." |
