Zee's Vikas Gupta joins WNS Global as legal counsel

WNS Global Services has announced the appointment of VikasGupta as Head - Legal Counsel and Company Secretary for the Group.

Vikas Gupta joins the company from Zee Telefilms where he was Senior Vice President, Finance and CompanySecretary and was responsible for raising finance from national and international capital markets, dealing with corporate, legalmatters, mergers and acquisitions and corporate restructuring.

Prior to joining Zee Telefilms, Gupta worked with Punjab Wireless Systems Limited as Asst General Manager (Finance) & Company Secretary and started his career as Secretarial Trainee with Asia Steel and Alloys Ltd in 1987. Vikas Gupta's academic qualification includes Company Secretary, Cost Accountant and has a degree in LL.B with about 18 years of work experience. He will be based in Mumbai.
