Comparatively, Hindi News channel Aaj Tak has a market share of 22%, its share has slipped from 26% earlier, the momentum gained by Star News. Accordingly, the market share of Aaj Tak is at 22% with viewers spending 30 min. on the channel. The market share of Zee News and NDTV India is at 16% and 14% respectively with viewers spending 16 min. and 14 min. each on the channel. Aaj Tak has the highest reach of over 30 million viewers, which itself strengthens it leadership. Note that the television rating data has less Universe, where the television rating meters is installed and it is highly impossible to predict exactly which channel is Leader. |
