Azhagan Thamiz Mane, the producer of successful Tamil films like Anbulla Rajinikanth, Malayiur Mammattian, Solaikuil, and Chithirai Pookal has entered into a joint venture with the Indonesian television production house Prima Productions for his films and television serials. Vista visions of Thamiz Mani and Prima's Indian subsidiary PMI have formed a company PMI Vista Visions Private Limited. Mane is the managing director of the company which has now got slots in MAA and Zee in Telugu and is likely to enter into an alliance with Jaya and Star Vijay. The increasing presence of Tamilians and Andhraites in Singapore and Malaysia has attracted several international investors. "This company has acquired the software library of Vista Vision for marketing it abroad," says Mane. Mangai produced by Vista Vision was the first mega serial to shatter the belief that housewives would not watch the noon slot. Vista Visions' last film Anbe Un Vasam had newcomers in the lead. "Our new ventures will also have fresh talent in the show," says Mane. |
