Nineteen-year Warner Bros. veteran and respected marketing executive Lisa Gregorian has been promoted to the newly created position of Executive Vice President, Worldwide Marketing for the recently created Warner Bros. Television Group, it was announced today by Bruce Rosenblum, President, Warner Bros. Television Group. In her new post, Gregorian will work with the Studio’s internal television marketing teams as well as television networks and stations worldwide to maximize and fully exploit the promotional and marketing opportunities available to all of the Studio’s television properties—network, first-run, cable and animated series—throughout their exhibition windows, including the network, domestic syndication, international distribution, home video and emerging television marketplaces. Gregorian’s marketing team will support and supplement the marketing activities for series from Warner Bros. Television, Telepictures Productions and Warner Bros. Animation, as well as the television windows (pay, cable and broadcast) for theatrical titles. Additionally, Gregorian and her team will work closely with Warner Home Video to secure production-related materials that will be incorporated into series’ subsequent home video releases. The Warner Bros. Television Group’s marketing team will also assume responsibility for www.thewb.com, the online presence of The WB Television Network and work with the network’s marketing team, led by Bob Bibb and Lew Goldstein, to ensure continuity of messaging and positioning online. Gregorian will also continue to serve as the Studio’s liaison with Time Warner to maximize the marketing exposure of all of the Television Group’s series across the parent company’s varied media platforms. Gregorian will continue to work closely with Warner Bros. Television and its broadcast and cable partners in the marketing and promotion of WBTV series, including traditional, new media and product licensing and integration initiatives. Notable among Gregorian’s recent marketing and promotional initiatives are the creation and launch of The O.C. Insider magazine and online fan community. She has also been involved the recent product integration activities on a number of WBTV series, including The O.C. and One Tree Hill. In the animation arena, the WBTVG marketing group will represent the Studio to Kids’ WB! and Cartoon Network to fully exploit all marketing and media opportunities, as well as work directly with Warner Bros. Consumer Products to explore opportunities. Prior to her promotion, Gregorian served in the then-newly created position of Senior Vice President, Warner Bros. Television Creative Services since April 2003. Before that, she was Senior Vice President, Marketing, Warner Bros. International Television Distribution for five years. Gregorian began her association with Warner Bros. when she joined Lorimar Telepictures in 1986 (the company was later acquired by Warner Bros.) and has held various positions including Director, International Home Video & Caribbean Television; Director, International Research & Pre-Sale Marketing; and Vice President, International Marketing & Research. |
