Airtel, Itz Cash tie-up In Mumbai

Airtel, India's leading mobile company has tied up with, Itz Cash Card to offers its prepaid customers, the option to top-up their prepaid account anywhere anytime in the city.

Airtel customers can now recharge their balance by simply selecting the talk-time top-up package and SMS the same with Itz Cash card no to 7575 and the top-up happens instantly. This service is currently available in Mumbai, and will to be extended to all the 23 Airtel circles shortly.

Itz Card strengthens Airtel's existing recharge facility portfolio comprising Multi-brand retail outlets, ATM mobile top-ups and electronic recharge options. The latest offering, ITz card, will be available Online, through SMS as well as through 600 Playwin outlets in Mumbai. The pricing for the Itz Cash card is exactly as per the Airtel recharge vouchers. The customers can use the full value of the prepaid amount, that is, on a RS 200 prepaid ITz cash card the customer can use recharge voucher worth RS 200.

According to Mr. Jayant Khosla, CEO, Mobility, Mumbai Circle, Bharti Tele-Ventures, "Mobile telephony customers by the virtue of being 'mobile' require various options for recharging and our internal research shows that our Mumbai customers in particular, prefer alternatives to retail outlets. Itz Card is yet another innovative offering from Airtel and it promises to ease the cumbersome task of frequent recharges with a click of a button."
