On 9th May 2003, during the LIVE telecast of the mega musical event Shava Shava featuring Harbhajan Mann, the viewership of the channel broke all previous records and for the first time the channel share of Zee TV Punjabi among Punjabi channels touched 90%. This performance was bettered on 30th June, 2003 during the LIVE telecast of Sur Punjabi when the channel share among Punjabi channels reached 95%.
